The primary purpose of www.propool.com is to REGISTER AND TRACK ALL POOL PLAYERS AND THEIR PERSONAL PLAYING STATISTICS! Our sport is the only sport that is not overwhelmed with volumes of stats. We have various ways to collect stats so that visitors and players can enjoy them. We are inviting comments from pool players in regards to tracking statistics and what would you like to see. We are inviting players and tournament directors to collect specific data from any tournament even old historical events and provide it to us for posting. Email us your comments.

> 1/30/2010, Our main purpose is to provide a Hi-Tech online tournament system that will improve your business and greatly enhance the pool playing experience. I believe that the traditional tournament system is long overdue for a modern makeover, which is now complete and ready for use.
The following features are part of the system that I would like to introduce to you.
1) Online Tournament ECharts. We have various charts that are easy to follow and use. The exclusive and proprietary Propool system is designed with scheduling flexibility in mind by appealing to players busy schedules. We have the SUPER8 and SUPER16 double elimination charts, which fit into the typical screen size. Then, the charts are linked together to create any number of players available or desired. This method has many advantages for the players and venues such as: A) flexible self scheduling, no TD needed, EZ navigation, online registration, off site worldwide viewing, no byes and bigger prize funds are just a few.
a. The ECharts are vertical in layout making it far more appealing as the winners rise up and the looser fall out.
b. Then, we are creating compatible backgrounds and artistic visual affects to further enhance the player experience.
c. The linking feature makes for a great qualification system.
d. Example highlight: Once the tournament has been developed, then the players can communicate and coordinate (i.e. facebook) their matches until the tournament is completed.
1. How many players can’t play in tournaments because it takes too long?

2) PC/TV Interface. This simple task allows the pc (dedicated public for public use or any laptop) to be connected to your large screen TV for an impressive display of the charts to all you patrons. It appears that it is a major TV production.
a. We also, help you with producing a custom screen saver program that electronically displays and advertises what you want. This is basically your own custom commercials.
3) Lifetime STATS. Our ECharts automatically collect and track the player results.
4) The universal World Rating is a calculated performance rating that the players can receive periodically to maintain an accurate average. It is a great way to compare skill with their peers and the pros.
This is just the beginning!

>9/17/2009, Day 6 at the GWC. The new online scoring system is working great. We are making several website enhancements as we perfect this system and make it available to ALL pool players. The Live EScoreCard works good and will be available today for use by the statisticians. Thanks to statistician Bob McFerren and his crew for the great job of providing the shot by shot stats.

>9/1/2009, We have been ask to provide our data collection system for collecting the complete statistics at the Galveston World Classic on 9/11/2009. The feature table will collect and post the shot by shot action with a World Rating and post it on www.insidepoolmag.com, plus we will collect the data for as many other matches as possible.

View "Tournament PBT - Pro 8-B Open 1998", as an example. We are adding new features as they are developed. Players that want to collect their pro stats should request a stats submit form.

PROPOOL.COM is ready for action by introducing several innovative enhancements to the billiard industry. Even in this struggling economy we hope that it will meet with enthusiasm from the players, tournament directors and venues (any location with 1 or more pool tables). There are four main features that greatly improve the pool playing experience.
>We have had the domain propool.com and have been working on the logo for several years trying to get it to resemble the major pro sports logos such as the NBA and MLB logos. Professional Billiards should be included at that level.
>The second and most important feature is player performance statistics. All other sports are inundated with stats for everything, yet pool has almost no historical data collected. It’s appalling. With several years of developing the website with an easy and fast way to collect player stats, hopefully, it will meet with popular excitement. By featuring the comprehensive Player Stats Page and an easy and fast way to collect ANY pool tournament stats, we will be able to offer the player’s the primary reason for using propool.com. The tournament data entry screen will be easy to entry any pool tournament data. We can enter the basic data including player name, final position and money earned all the way to full statistics including balls pocketed, errors and other shot by shot statistics. The players or the director will be able to submit the data for posting and we have a review step to validate the data before posting to the website. Once posted Tournament Directors can edit the player profile page.
Since we missed many years of interesting facts we are inviting the players to GO BACK, go way back and collect unlimited historical tournament data and submit it to be complied in one place. Data can be retrieved from articles, tournament director records, old flow charts and videos of professional tournaments. We have collected many old stats that are being imported. Don’t forget to enter the current tournament results. For a limited time it’s free to submit data. We will have a player and venue registration fee soon.
>The third really cool feature is the New Online Exclusive SUPER8 Pool Tournament Chart and format. There are too many improvements to list with this innovation. We took the traditional double elimination format and divided it into unlimited 8 player charts. Then we computerized the 8 player charts for appeal and easy use and eliminated the tournament bracket complecations. There are many player and venue benefits for using this system. The biggest benefit is self run tournaments with no waiting and waiting and waiting between matches. Once player’s signup they can match and play when they want. Plus all their stats are automatically tracked.
>The fourth exciting enhancement is helping the venues hook up a computer into their big screen TV for very impressive displays of the tournament brackets. Then, we offer a custom screen saver program to allow venues to have their own custom electronic advertising package.
