1) Is this a real pool tournament or do I play virtual pool online?
The Challenge System is a new online format for organizing real pool tournament competitions. You play your friends, post your match scores on the online scorecard and then monitor the instant player rankings on the Event Leader Board.
2) How does the scoring validation ensure player accuracy?
a) Both players validate the match score.
b) If incorrect scores are posted, any player has the right to notify propool Admin of the descripency.
c) 3rd Party managers i.e. Venues, Directors, Promoters etc. also have the right to validate score card accuracy.
d) It’s not practical to create enough fake opponents to ensure winning.
e) there is an accuracy validation process prior to prize payouts.
3) How can players from different areas complete in the same tournament?
In a normal elimination event, each player only plays a few of the entries in random draws and per the bracket flow chart. Everyone does not play everyone. Typically, the player with the most matches won, wins.
By using a Leader Board ranking system groups of players in different areas challenge each other and the scores are posted and players are ranked by Matches Won and/or Games Won.
4) How do I know which event I should play in?
Initially, we recommend all players post their match scores in the 01-The Rocket-Rodney Morris facebook Billiard Challenge 2011 on the Event Center Page. This will get you familiar with the program and allow you to see your ranking against Rodney Morris. When Venues want to promote their own local event contact Admin and request your own title event.
